Invoices and quotes
Prepare a quote when the scope needs agreement, or create an invoice directly. Review drafts, line items, discounts and tax preferences before sending. Document branding and saved business details help keep correspondence consistent.
Clients and reusable services
Keep client details and reusable services available for repeat work. Review recipient information when preparing a document; saved client changes do not automatically rewrite historical document snapshots.
Payments and receipts
Record partial or full payments against an invoice, review the remaining balance and prepare a receipt. Received currency and invoice credit can differ. Invoice-It records payment evidence; it does not charge cards or transfer funds.
Recurring invoices and reminders
Use recurring schedules for repeat billing and control eligible payment reminders. Scheduling and email acceptance are different from delivery or payment; review run history and delivery outcomes rather than assuming automation succeeded.
Expenses and supporting records
Record business costs and supporting receipts alongside client and invoice records. Allocation to an invoice is not proof of reimbursement, and currency conversion should be reviewed in its original context.
Dashboard and reporting
Review saved records by period, balances and payment outcomes. Missing exchange-rate evidence or unavailable data must not be read as zero activity. Use the detailed report guides to understand what each measurement includes.
